Request to take GSM Course

Request to take GSM course from students in undergraduate (ADP and Non-ADP), JD-MBA, JD, or another MU graduate program. This form is also used for Current GSM Students who need a permission number due to an error or policy exception. Please select your student type below to see additional information/instructions.

For Spring 2026: please submit all requests by Friday January 16th, so all requests can be processed by the Add/Drop deadline of Tuesday January 20th.

Law students not in the JD-MBA joint degree program are eligible to take a maximum of 6 credits in the GSM without official admission. Approval is needed from both the Law School and the Graduate School of Management by submitting this form.

Students admitted into JD-MBA programs receive priority registration. Law Students without joint degree status will be considered for graduate courses once the law school approval is received and the regular registration period concludes. Permission numbers will be sent the week following the end of the regular registration period. To speak with a recruiter regarding the joint degree program please reach out to mba@marquette.edu

Students admitted into ADP programs receive priority registration for undergraduate seats available in graduate level courses. Students not admitted into ADP will be considered for graduate courses once the registration period closes, and permission numbers will be sent the following week. Students can take a maximum of 6 graduate credits per term.
